CamprianoA land for farming
Campriano is a farm located 330 meters above sea level on the border that separates the Crete Senesi territory of the Val d’Arbia and the woods that join the Val di Merse in which we produce wine and olive oil.
The basic choice has been to concentrate on native Tuscan vines and therefore on Sangiovese as the leading vine, searching for the most suitable and reliable clones in the various soil and climate conditions.
Sangiovese is at the centre of the development project, but over the years some mass selections of complementary vines have been made (Canaiolo Nero and Malvasia del Chianti) from which it has been possible to draw for new vineyard plantings.
The exposure of the soils and their medium calcareous mixture rich in stones, guarantee perfect drainage and allow our vines to develop their potential with a well-defined character.

Ours winesHigh quality production
Winemaking at Campriano is the result of the art, vision and passion of Dr. Ranuccio Neri. Ranuccio trained at Universita’ Cattolica in Piacenza (Italy) and further specialized in wine biotechnology at University of California, Davis (U.S.A.). The wines obtained from the different vineyards are selected and blended to obtain products to be bottled within the first year of life (Chianti Colli Senesi Docg) or to be aged in oak wood to give greater depth and longevity (Stile di Campriano Rosso Toscana Igt) It was decided from day one to vinify only grapes from the estate’s own vineyards.
The company produces other typical Tuscan wines in small quantities, such as Bianco di Campriano with selected Trebbiano and Malvasia of Chianti grapes, Rosato di Campriano with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, and L’Oro di Campriano, a sweet wine made according to the tradition of Tuscan Vinsanto.
